The Swedish Armed Forces' Telecommunications and Information Systems Command (FMTIS) has a collective responsibility for the operation, maintenance, and management of command support systems in the Armed Forces. FMTIS operates continuously in peace, crisis, and war, meaning that the unit is always deployed both nationally and internationally. The unit has more than 1700 employees spread across over 30 locations in the country.

About the Unit

You will belong to the Implementation Unit South Staff (GE Syd) located in Hästsveda. GE Syd conducts operations that ensure the Armed Forces' ability to communicate and lead, around the clock - all year round. The unit consists of over 180 employees distributed across 7 departments in 6 locations within the Southern Military Region (MR S).

Main Responsibilities

• Represent, lead, and develop functions and operations within your area of responsibility
• Lead implementation, quality assurance, follow-up, and reporting of assignments within the unit's area of responsibility
• Other staff-related work.
• Prepared to take over the staff chief's duties

The work involves travel within the country, war placement at FMTIS, and possible international service.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• OR6-8
• Experience in operational leadership and management corresponding to battalion level
• Driver's license B manual transmission

You take your own initiative and can independently drive the unit's work towards its goals. You are unpretentious and can easily adapt and be flexible and receptive in a humble manner. It is important that you have analytical and structured abilities. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Permanent employment, a 6-month probationary period applies for those who are currently not employed within the Armed Forces.
Work location: Hästsveda.
Employment rate: Full-time.
The work involves travel within the country.
